Truth and Reconciliation in Scarborough

Scarborough Centre for Health Communities and The Scarborough Health Network will be hosting a Truth and Reconciliation event on September 21st at Thompson Memorial Park Picnic site B 1005 Brimley Road. The event will allow time to reflect on our personal commitment to truth and reconciliation and how we can build a community and health care system that is welcoming.

We will start with a welcoming message from Blackwolf at 1 pm.

At 1:30 we will have Indigenous drummers and songs. Dancers are welcome to register please email astephenson@schcontario.ca and ehenry2@shn.ca

We will start our Sea of Orange Walk at 3 pm. The walk will be ~2 km with shorter options available.

We will finish the event with snacks.
