Scarborough Ride, Transportation & Hemodialysis
About this Program
The Transportation program provides rides for seniors, and adults with disabilities, living in the community to and from medical appointments.
We service the catchment area of Bayview Avenue in the west and Whitby in the east for medical appointments.
As part of the transportation program, we also offer rides for clients receiving Hemodialysis. This program is for individuals receiving dialysis minimally 3 times a week who are not eligible for Wheel-Trans and have no family support.
Transportation is also available for:
- Our Congregate Dining Program
- Our Weekly Shopping trips
- Our Active Living Centre events and programs
- Our Adult Day Program
Transportation does require an intake and there are fees, please call the office for further details. Please note that we cannot accommodate pickups from Long Term Care facilities.
