About this Program

Our Homelessness Intervention program assists individuals and families who are homeless or facing eviction to arrange more secure housing through a range of services, including advocacy, education, referral for access to resources, and income support.

Services Include:

  • Information, resources and referral
  • Completing applications for Social Housing in and outside of the GTA
  • Annual rent reviews
  • Furniture Bank referrals
  • Eviction prevention
  • Special priority applications
  • Income supports – not limited to ODSP/OW
  • Budget maintenance
  • Tenants’ rights and responsibilities
  • Rental housing listings
  • Crisis and emergency information
  • Other housing related programs


For each member of your household, please bring proof of status in Canada to your appointment. All members of your household who are 16 years and older must attend the appointment.

Housing supports are provided by appointment only. The only exception will be during drop-in hours. Please call for more information.

You must apply for this program and/or for subsidy. Documents required are:

  • Canadian birth certificate
  • Canadian passport
  • Citizenship card
  • Permanent Resident document
  • Refugee claimant document
